Description

Ro4–1539 (furethylnorlevorphanol) is an opioid drug of the morphine series with a strong analgesic effect, first synthesized in the 1950s by the pharmaceutical company Hoffmann–La Roche, but after clinical trials it was never sold commercially, as it did not have a number of advantages over the already available opioid drugs.
